Gianni Vancini is an accomplished saxophonist known for his captivating sound and innovative style. Hailing from Italy, he has captivated audiences worldwide with his performances that blend jazz, classical, and contemporary influences. A graduate of prestigious music conservatories, Gianni has collaborated with numerous renowned artists and ensembles, showcasing his versatility across various genres. 2022: “Made in Italy”, a collection of some of the best italian songs that features great guests such as Umberto Tozzi, Sarah Jane Morris, trumpet player Fabrizio Bosso and many others.

 

2014: “Get Your Groove On” (re-released in 2018), recorded in Los Angeles. Gianni reaches the top of the list of the most popular saxophonists in the States and worldwide.

 

2011: “Souls United”, recorded in Amsterdam. The album has received excellent feedbacks, entering in different American charts (Billboard chart, Smoothjazz.com, Smoothindiestar.com, etc).

As the only Italian saxophonist, in 2013 he had the privilege of being part of the “Dave Koz & Friends at sea”, the coveted cruise sponsored by the famous saxophonist Dave Koz (the same has a “star” in the prestigious Walk of Fame in Hollywood) to which annually gathers the greatest exponents of contemporary American jazz.

He wrote together with producer/keyboardist Greg Manning the song “Top Down”, nominated #1 Song of the year 2019 on Billboard.
